Required criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience spray painting.
  • Previous experience with operating spray painting equipment, mixing paints, and applying finishes to various surfaces.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Northern Ireland/UK and travel throughout the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Northern Ireland/UK you must upload a copy of it with your application. Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit may result in your application not being considered.

About the role:

Responsibilities

  • Operating an air pressurised spray gun to spray paint fabricated components.
  • Apply paint using various techniques, ensuring an even and durable finish.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
  • Inspect and ensure the painted components meet the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.

  • To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
